We talked a lot about transportation in all it’s various forms last week. The kids love this theme!
Back in Time
What a great week of taking a look back in time at the way things used to be. (How did people live without cell phones back then???) We also finally had our first Splash Day!
Artistic Gardens
It was a fun week as we finally got to start our fun summer themes. We planted kale, bell peppers and okra. We also made a super cool mixed media mural of flowers that’s now hanging in the hallway,
Graduation Preparation
We’re gearing up for our special celebration of our Montessori Academy Class of 2019. We’re also enjoying our last weeks together as a complete group.
Rehearsals and Rehab
We’re getting ready for all our end of the school year performances and activities. Meanwhile our poor Bullwinkle is suffering some serious medical issues. We’re doing our best to help him through and make the rest of his life as comfortable as possible.
Back to Basics
After a parent approached me about his child being iffy on the days of the week, I knew it was time to go back to basics so it was a week full of phonetics, counting, letter recognition, etc.
Sliver and Hop
We continued our study of reptiles and amphibians this week with one major group art project… a giant gecko!
Cold Blooded Creatures
We love reptiles and are excited to start studying them and all the other cold blooded animals.
