WOAH! What a week we had in our class! Monday we were out to celebrate independence day, then we returned on Tuesday. Music class kick started our week on Tuesday. We exercised our brains with big puzzles from Miss. Marias class and we talked all about community helpers. Can animals be community helpers? WHY, YES THEY CAN! See & eye dogs, police dogs, fire dogs and coast guard dogs. We connected all of these to the much loved show- PAW PATROL… Leading to coloring marshal the fire dog. We talked about lifeguards at the pool and firemen. The Carrboro fire dept came and visited our school today and told us all about that huge RED FIRE ENGINE..THEN THEY GAVE US ALL HATS! How about splash day? We pretended to be lifeguards while we splashed to make sure everyone was being safe!
