A sunny week full of kites and kangaroos

What a busy week we had in Toddler 1! The sun finally came out, so we took full advantage of the weather and spent lots of time running around on our lovely new Montessori playground. Our color of the week was purple, and we had lots of fun mixing red and blue paints together and painting grapes. Our letter was K, and we made kites and kangaroos! We talked a lot about our body parts, and had a fun time stretching and singing “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes.” As a special Friday treat, Ms. Alice brought in her ukulele and we had a singalong. Everyone got a turn to strum!
