Adventures in Space
Last week went by quickly as CH-2 explored the depths of Outer Space for the theme of the week.
Several of the activities the class enjoyed were making their own telescopes, creating rockets and stars to help make a mural for the Outer Space theme. The children also enjoyed making their own galaxies in a jar. Everyone loved the sensory experience of pouring in the paint and glitter as well as stretching apart cotton ball. In addition the class completed our letter of the week, X and read some interesting books from the library to expand their vocabulary for the letter of the week.
Finally the class enjoyed Show and Share on Friday as well as getting some fun physical exercise with some Hula Hoops!
