All About North Carolina!
This week our Summer Theme was All about NC. The Toddlers knew so much about Carolina and constantly talked about Carolina Blue! We began our week listening to the State Song and the State Seal. We then discussed our State Bird, The Cardinal and State Flower, Dogwood. For art, we made handprint cardinals that were sitting on a branch. We celebrated Miss Kendalyn’s Birthday and had a big party that was filled with lots of treats and sang Happy Birthday. Our favorite part was the cupcakes. In good Tarheel Fashion, we made our very own Toddler Tarheel Feet! The Toddlers were so excited to get their feet painted Carolina Blue and hardly wanted to take it off. We ended the week by showing Carolina Spirit by wearing a Carolina shirt or Carolina Blue!
