Camping
This week’s theme in CH-2 was Tents and Forts. On Monday we learned about fire safety and to “stop,drop, and roll.” We also made our own fire logs and created backpacks to fill with what we would need to take camping from magazine pictures the children cut out themselves. Also worked on writing, reading and our letters. Many of the children are completing their challenges and doing a great job . During the middle of the week we built a fort in the classroom so the children could read stories and expand their imagination. In addition we had our fun Friday theme of “Camping.” We got to make smore’s as well as enjoy a tent that Abby brought in for the whole class to use!
