Cold Blooded Creatures
We started our reptile and amphibian theme this week with lots of fun activities.
we painted and then cut out paper snakes.
We began a 3D turtle project that is proving to be a multi-day project.
It takes a long time for thick paint to dry and then it peels right off… 🙁
We made reptile coloring books.
Some of us did a fabulous job of staying in the lines.
We made super cool bead snakes that bend and twist.
This type of activity is good for fine motor skills.
We played in a sand pit with reptiles.
Of course we got sand everywhere!

We repotted our classroom plants.
We got our science table fixed.
We were silly on the slide.

We collected small pictures that were all over the floor.
We worked on challenges, even though it wasn’t a challenge week.
