End Of Summer
This past week was our last week of our Summer Themes! Our theme for the week was “Safety Week.” The week started off with a Solar Eclipse! It got dark outside in the middle of the day which was pretty cool. As part of Safety Week, we practiced our Fire Drills and Tornado Drills. The toddlers in the toddler 2 class all did such a great job using their listening ears and staying with their teachers during the drills. The highlight of the week was definitely getting visits from both the Carrboro Police Department and the Carrboro Fire Department! The toddlers got to go inside a police car and a fire truck. For our craft this week, we colored Fire Safety coloring pages. We also celebrated our friend Jonah’s birthday this week! We had such a great end to the summer, and we are all looking forward to an exciting new school year!
