Feelings and Emotions
This week has just zipped by in Children’s House 2-1. We learned about feelings and emotions. For our craft we made faces out of paper plates, yarn and google eyes. We drew on facial expressions with magic markers.
We played the “Silence” game, finger play and sing along games. We painted shapes using sponges cut out like hearts, triangles, circles, squares and rectangles. We are learning the names of two and three dimensional shapes.
Social graces and curtesy is important in our classroom. We have been learning
about caring for living things, like our classroom plants and the chickens who live in their coop behind the school. We go out everyday and collect eggs.
