Fingerpainting and Firefighting
We’ve been discussing community helpers this week and learning about how they keep our neighborhoods running smoothly and provide a valuable service to all of us. We’ve enjoyed many good books on this broad subject and played related games, too.
For art we decided to do some finger painting and really did a great job of mixing the colors in a beautiful way without turning the whole picture brown or gray (depending on what three colors we picked.)
The highlight of our week was a visit from the Firefighters next door who brought their pumper truck and taught us all about how it works.
