First Week of Fall

| September 29, 2017

We had a great week and kept it super busy with lots of fun activities. Our theme was Fall, which we will continue into next week.

We started off Monday with a painting project to decorate our cubby area.

We love painting!

We also wanted to make progress on our “Family Tree” so we repurposed the brown paper from our giant dinosaur project.

We shredded it into tiny pieces and then hot glued gunned it to the door.

We painted the pinecones I picked up on my afternoon walks with the dogs.

We thought that bowls full of sand were the perfect way to make them stand up while we painted them.

One of our favorite activities this week was using the spray paint/sidewalk chalk Ms. Janice got for us.

It turned out so bright!

We also painted a “den” that we’ll finish next week.

This was by far our messiest project!

We created homemade puzzles. The first ones were “too simple” so we made some harder ones, too.

Every good puzzle starts with a picture.

We made a cool new window decoration, too. This time using fall colored tissue paper to create autumn leaves.

Check out our creation in our backdoor window.

Of course, we kept up our academics as well. We completed over 75 challenges this week.
