Flamingos & Splash Day!

What a fun and eventful week it has been! We began our summer themes, and this week’s theme was “at the zoo!” We started out the week by talking about our favorite animals.  We looked up pictures of everyone’s favorite animals and even listened to the animal noises during circle time.  Ginny said her favorite animal was a flamingo! We had our very first splash day of the summer on Wednesday, and the kids LOVED it!! On Friday, we celebrated Metta’s birthday. She will be 3 on June 10! For her party, we watched her walk around the sun three times, and had goldfish and chocolate milk. Its been a fun week in our classroom and we look forward to learning about the continents of the world next week.  Even better, Miss Tori will be back!!!
