Gg Is For Ghost!

This past week we were elated to have Rowynn join our class family. All of our friends have shown her the ropes of CH 2. Our class family is almost complete. We look forward to those who will be joining us soon. We focused on the letter G and color green. We discovered there are many shades of green. And according to two sources, there are 4735 “G” words! We even brought blocks to our playground.

We truly enjoyed learning the letter sound of G with this fun song. (61) The Letter G Song – Learn the Alphabet – YouTube. Please give it a listen. We use these songs weekly to aid with phonics and letter recognition. We plan to continue on letters weekly. Next week, we will focus on the letter H.

Art is one of our favorite activities, and Mrs. Dayna always discovers the best projects. Together we made cute ghosts with our hands, black paper, and white paint. Next week, we will construct “haunted” houses. Check back next week for more!
