Halloween!!!!!
This was such a fun and busy week in Toddler Room 1! We started off our week celebrating Halloween! We had a Halloween Parade and did some classroom trick or treating. We all dressed up and had a variety of costumes from monkeys to Little Red Riding Hood. Afterwards, we worked on the letter H! We talked about houses and learned how to build our own houses with blocks. We also talked about hats and how we can wear them when it is cold and when it is hot. For art, we colored our very own hats by using our new do a dot markers. Lastly, we talked about different healthy food and what we should eat to be healthy toddlers. Our attempts at baby yoga ended with a running party but we still got our exercise in for the day. This week, we welcomed our new friend Jack to our classroom and said goodbye to our long time friend Madison as she transitioned to Ch 1-1.
