International Celebrations
This week in Toddler Room 1, we celebrated international celebrations. We discussed some celebrations that happen in the United States and made Fireworks to celebrate the Fourth of July. We also talked about different Carnivals Around the World (Venice, Brazil, and New Orleans). Our toddlers made Mardi Gras masks that had their choice of Feathers, Sequins, and different colors. We finished out our week talking about the Lantern Festival that happens in China. Our toddlers were so excited to make our very own Chinese Lanterns. On Friday, we had an International Celebration Party where our parents contributed dishes that were popular in other countries!
