Ladybugs and Stars
In Toddler Room 1, we focused on the color red and the shape of a star. We looked at the color red and found different things in our classroom that were red and put them in our sensory bucket. We looked at pictures of red items such as apples, strawberries, balloons, tomatoes, and ladybugs. We made a beautiful ladybug craft using coffee filters and markers. For stars, we had glow in the dark stars and sang “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”. Our toddlers thought that this was so fun and had a blast doing so. We then made “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” art by using sponges shaped like stars and yellow paint.
