Learning Every Day
This week in CH-2 we continued to work on our challenges. Many of the older kids are working on their reading skills as well as their mathematics. The whole class is working on their time challenges together and are quickly getting the hang of it. The younger children continue to develop their writing skills through activities such as writing the alphabet or their names. We are also working on recognizing our words through fun activities such as sight word bingo.
In addition we are celebrating the 4th of July with our theme for the week, Stars and Stripes. The children are doing fun art activities such as creating red, white and blue rockets as well as colored flowers and patriotic Fourth of July hats to celebrate the holiday
We have also started a new weekly tradition of Fun Fridays! Every week is a new theme that the children pick out. This week we did Movie and got to watch “Trolls” while enjoying popcorn balls that the children make themselves.
