Rabbits and Rain Drops

| February 3, 2016

This was a short week in our Toddler Room 1 class. We celebrated Martin Luther King Jr Day on Monday and the snowstorm cancelled our Friday. However, the other days of the week were accompanied by lots of activities and art crafts focusing on the letter R. We had our friend Marcel the Rabbit visit. Our toddlers made white rabbit ears to match Marcel. We learned how to pet him correctly and fed him carrots. We used different shapes to make Rockets that shoot into space for our art projects. Since we knew the snowstorm was coming, we decided to discuss another form of snow, Rain drops. Our toddlers enjoyed singing “Rain Rain Go Away” but we should have sang it for our snowstorm.
