Reading and the Letter “E”
This week we had so much fun reading! We learned how to trace and write the letter “E”, both lower and upper cases. The letter “E” makes a long and a short sound and we found many words and objects that begin with both sounds. We learned how to read simple sentences and observed sight words. 
For a craft, we made an elephant using a cutout upper case “E” and colored a picture that included the “e” sound. We even made music using the long letter “e”!
This week we celebrated our friend Adil’s Birthday. He turned 4 years old! Adil had his “Walk Around the Sun” and told us all about the things that he did in his first 4 years.
