The letter q and Valentines day!
This 
week Montessori Childrens House 1-2 focused on the letter q. We talked about the common q words; queen, quail and quilt. We also learned what a question is versus what a statement is. This is something we will continue to work on throughout the year.
We also celebrated this weeks Black History Months VIP, Garrett Alexander Morgan. He was an inventor who invented a hair straightening product, a smoke mask and the traffic light. We colored a picture of a traffic light in celebration of him.
This Friday we will celebrate Valentines day and listen to Motown music. Please feel free to bring treats and/or Valentines cards. A heads up, there are 9 children in the class!
