The Letter S is for Scary Spiders and Snakes…
This week in Toddler Room 1, we discussed the letter Ss. We went over the letter S and taught the toddlers how to make the S sound. This lead us to Scary Snakes. The toddlers made Snakes with the letter S and a red triangular tongue. Ms. Mandy also brought her pet snake to visit everyone in the school. The toddlers also made spiders accompanied with the itty bitty Spider song which the toddlers absolutely loved. We ended our week talking about Smiles and Smiley faces. We gave the toddlers a yellow face, 2 black eyes and a mouth and let them decided what their smiley faces looked like.
