Valentine’s Week of Toddler Love
Since Valentine’s Day came on a Sunday this year. Toddler 1 decided to celebrate it the week before. This week we focused on colors red and pink; we also talked about the shape heart. The toddlers were taught how to make a heart shape with their hands as best as they could. We read books on Valentine’s Day and talked about how much we love our mommies and daddies. 
The toddlers decided to make heart pictures for mommy and daddy to put on a refrigerator. The toddlers did many crafts and made a booklet to give to their parents for Valentine’s Day.We also talked abut how much how much we love our friends and how we are always nice to them. This resulted in a Valentine’s Day Party on Friday with our friends from Toddler 2 class. All of our toddlers brought Valentine’s Day cards for each other and we brought food that were pink and red. This party was full of love and friendship.
