We Love Fossils!
What a fun week as we continue our exploration of rocks, geography, erosion, and now fossils. Our museum has grown exponentially as has both our interest and knowledge. Thanks to the Library, we’ve got about 20 books on the subject to reference and various projects for hands on experience.
One of our favorite activities (much to my surprise) was making marble paper using chalk, my turkey roasting pan, and an old screen.
Other activities we enjoyed this week were painting rocks my favorite color, Carolina Blue, and molding with play doh.
