We love Music of all Decades
Our summer theme this week was Music Decades! Each day we focused on a different decade: 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s. We had our splash day a day early and made Tie-Dye T-shirts! Each toddler brought in a white shirt and was allowed to choose the colors that they wanted on their shirt. Our toddlers enjoyed seeing all the colors mesh together on the shirts and their hands. In our classroom, we made boomboxes and practiced walking around like they used to. We looked at different ways we can listen to music and how we have evolved. We looked at pictures of record players, eight tracks, cassette tapes, CDs, and iPods. On Friday, we wore our cool toddler Tie-Dye Shirts.
