We want to be Dentists, Police, and Firemen
This week was our Summer Theme, In My Community. We talked about different community helpers that assist us with everyday things in life. We talked about chefs who cooked for us and some of our toddlers acknowledged their parents as their own chefs. We had a parent who was a dentist donate toothbrushes, toothpaste, and floss to our classroom. We learned how to properly brush our teeth.The toddlers practiced on our baby dolls. We also painted/ brushed our paper teeth to make them all sparkly white. We then moved on to our Police Officer unit. We learned the difference between Sirens for police and firemen. We then did a “Toddler Intake” and did our fingerprints. Each one of us received a “Toddler-shot” and an offense such speeding in our toy car. On Friday, we were able to learn about firetrucks and have them visit our school! This week we welcomed back our friend Taylor but said Goodbye to our friend look as he transitioned to CH
