Week of Fun
This week the children continued to tackle their challenges head on. Some of the challenges completed includes reading, writing, and number recognition. In addition, the younger children are working on writing their names and practicing their phonetic skills.
For art, this week the children created their own paper snakes and painted using new materials such as Q-tips. For science day, we observed the result of our “disappearing eggs” experiment. The children were very excited to see that the egg shell had dissolved in vinegar after being in it for about a week. We also made corn hop using only baking soda and vinegar.
Finally music class and yoga continue to be enjoyed by everyone as we get to move every week and practice learning how to meditate.
