Winter Weather?

We ended January with a week talking about the cold, just in time for the weather to heat up to a balmy 70 degrees. Welcome to North Carolina where we can’t make up our mind what season it is! 🙂

We made snowflake prints with sponges and white chalk.
We used plastic and oil to shield ourselves from the icy cold water. It didn’t really work.
  • What a fun project!
  • Nina’s Grandmother came in and read a story about the cold and then we made snowflakes from paint, glue, glitter and mixed media collage items.
We took a break from the cold to play BINGO.
  • Free choice art is a way for us to be creative.
